It's Your Chance To Volunteer And Give Back To The Community!

To All Mariner's Point Community Association Members
(Mariner's Point and Mariner's Landing)

We are recruiting volunteers for Mariner's Point Community Association committees: the Pool and Clubhouse Committee, and the Architecture Committee. Involvement by our members ensures we have pertinent input and new ideas, which benefits our community members. The committees work under the direction of the Board of Directors.

Here is a list of Committees and their responsibilities:

  • The Pool and Clubhouse Committee collaborates with the Board of Directors on matters related to pool use, pool rules, monitoring the condition of the pool and locker rooms and assessing the effectiveness of the pool guards. Relevant input is given to the Board when selecting pool management companies. The committee is also involved with input relative to maintaining the clubhouse via suggestions for improvements and feedback from community members. The committee also works closely with the Social Committee on it's event planning. The time commitment is for one early evening meeting per month and occasional help with Social Committee events.

  • The Architectural Committee reviews all Architectural Applications for compliance with MPCA Architecture Guidelines. The members review the applications for completeness and make site visits to discuss and review the requested changes. The committee will request any changes required with the owner/applicant. Once the application and plans are agreed upon with the committee members the Committee Chairman will discuss the application with the Board and suggest approval.

  • If you have an interest in any of these committees, please contact Felicia Shockley, CMCA, AMS, of Tidewater Property Management at fshockley@tidewaterproperty.com
